I read in the papers this morning about this 15 year old getting a mechanical heart. Its like the first of its kind in M'sia and Aussie.. such an amazing invention i must say... =) Its like he is given a second chance to live again.. with the mechnical heart relieving pressure from the old one. I was talking to my schoolmate about this in sociology tut, and she said "the poor little boy.. he cant go near magnets then.." i was like confused till she said again "cos there will magnetic force and he will be sucked in!" haha.. so funny! But then again, its kinda cool thinking about it, can you imagine, who knows another 30/40/50 years later.. there would be no more patients dying early cos they are still on the waiting list for specific organs.. they could just implant mechanical organs that can do the same work as live organs. What a different world it would be then.

As I close this chapter of love in my life, I embark on yet another journey in life. A journey where there are hopes, dreams, and aspirations. And it will be with the support of my friends, family and HIM, without them, nothing is possible. I have become stronger and more "mature" now, different from the innocent, naive little one 4 years ago. And with this virtue.. i will move on with my life and live life to the fullest. And i hope you do too. Be strong and take good care of yourself.
