juS came back from worK about an hR ago..
am finally adJusting to the waitreSsing life.. haha
i seeM to be reaLLy "lucky" sice i begaN woRking.. let me tell you Why..
monday(1st day): went to work feeling a lil nervous and all..
learnt simple setting and clearing of the table..
refilled water..
even learnt the art of balancing a tray..
then in these unfamiliar surroundings.. shaky hands at work..
THE BOSS came in with his family for dinner..
wah.. i was sososo nervous.. all the staff kept telling me to not make mistakes..
after his family left, he stayed behind to check n things.. stared at us for so long..
pressureeee..
and one of the auntie said " wah.. u so lucky ah.. first day of work and the boss comes in.. haha"..

today: my 3rd day of work.. now everything goes more smoothly.
no mistakes yet. am beginning to react faster.
able to balance a tray with tons of stuff on it.. w/o shaking..
and jus when i was startin to settle in this line..
THE AREA MANAGER WALKED IN... he was the one who interviewed me..
what.. i cant be that "lucky" right..
he saw me and smiled.. so i smiled back..
then i got tested on the condiments.. the diff types of cutlery.. the table nos. the setting n clearing of table all at one shot...
when he said " good.. so you were briefed. i m happy that u know everything i asked you.. "
wow.. it was such a relieve.. the auntie was also smiling at me... she is a nice lady..
and so i ended my day on a good note...
tomoRRow is another day..
actually i think i like my job.. its kinda fun... besides for the two blisters on my toes.. but thats fine.. i can live with it.. hehe..
